Blogging again

I stopped blogging last year for two reasons:

1. I'd started a new job and I had no time
2. I was utterly sick of handling the spam comments. I was getting 1000+ spam comments a day and I just couldn't be bothered moderating them any more.

I've now moved my blog over to squarespace.com where the moderation tools are even worse, but the spammers are less likely to be able to get to me (hopefully).

Hey, now that you're back, maybe you can fix the problem with code snippets that are chopped off so I can stop copying and pasting them into a text editor to read them...

You don't have to go to all the trouble of moving to a liquid layout. Just add something like this to your stylesheet:

blockquote { padding-left: 0; margin-left: 0; }
pre { overflow: auto; border: 1px solid #ddd; padding: 5px; }

Done.

Thanks for the Scala/Vaadin stuff. Very interesting.

You're right, the new layout sucks for that and I need to change it to something that actually works.
